Enfield 1sts have been crowned London Water Polo Winter League Division Three champions.
The title was sealed without a ball being thrown as Beckenham 2nds cancelled this evening’s match, which was due to be played at Southgate.

After being awarded the points, it means Enfield 1sts can celebrate with a game to spare and the coaches and players can now look forward to playing in Division Two next season.
The triumph means Enfield’s 1sts have achieved back-to-back promotion-winning campaigns, after also earning a place in Division Two last summer.

It’s no more than the 1st team deserved after recording a 100% record so far in the winter tournament.
Enfield’s final Winter League fixture is against Enfield 2nds next Wednesday at Southgate Leisure Centre, 9pm start.
