Croydon booked their place in the showpiece final after comfortably beating Watford 12-4 in the semis and standing in their way of glory was Invicta, who had earlier brushed aside Manchester in their semi.

Invicta proved tough opposition, but didn’t have enough to stop some excellent attacking play by Croydon, who ran out 11-8 winners.

Well done, Alex, Nikos, Charlie and Costas!

Special mention also to Enfield’s Martin Waller, who travelled up with the boys and helped coach the team through to the final.
