Enfield help out with epic charity challenge

Enfield Water Polo Club were pleased to welcome fundraiser Greg Bullen to training on Wednesday as part of his mammoth challenge to complete 100 sports in 100 days.

Despite a serious bout of cramp at the end, Greg enjoyed his time in the pool and learning all about the sport.

“Water polo really takes it out of you and incredible fitness is required,” said Greg. “I’m sure the guys went pretty easy on me, as I even managed to score a few times!”

Greg is aiming to raise £5,000 for the Stroke Association and water polo was the 58th sport he’s attempted.

“Next up is rounders, wiffle ball and ultimate frisbee. I found water polo really good fun and it combines enjoyment with a proper work-out! It’s definitely in my top 10 so far!”

Best of luck, Greg, from everyone at Enfield Water Polo Club!
