Enfield Water Polo Club fly out to Skopje on Thursday night (9th July) for their five-night Macedonia 2015 tour.

A series of games have been arranged with local side VK Beta and touring Bulgarian team WPC Levski Sofia.

Enfield’s opening match will be played outdoors in the Macedonian capital on Friday.

The following day, the 13-strong squad will travel southwest to the resort of Ohrid, where they will play several exhibition games in the stunning lake which borders Albania.

Enfield veteran Roy Naisbitt, 85, will also be making the journey this year after stepping up his training and having recently scored on his birthday.

After the successful 2014 tour to Skopje (details here), Enfield are very much looking forward to locking horns again with VK Beta, who they lost to twice and beat once last summer.

A spectacular gala dinner has also been arranged for the weekend of the 11th/12th in Ohrid.
